On Wednesday, 30th July 2025, members of the Ku-ring-gai Chamber of Commerce came together for the Annual General Meeting at SkyBar Thai Restaurant, Roseville. The AGM began at 6:00 pm and was followed by a buffet dinner for those who chose to stay.
The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on the Chamber’s achievements over the past 12 months and to share plans and initiatives for the year ahead. Members also had the chance to shape the Chamber’s leadership by electing committee members for the next term.
Committee nominations had been open for the positions of President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and up to three Ordinary Committee Members. Nominations were submitted in advance, with each nominee supported by two other members, ensuring a strong and engaged leadership team for the year ahead.
The committee roles were voted on and accepted – Paula O’Connell was thanked for her time as Treasurer and for taking on a committee role, Donna Cornford is the new Treasurer, Brian Rubin, Council Representative and Company Secretary, Michael Adams , Special Events Manager, Dale Crosby, Vice-President and Adrienne McLean, President for her second year.
Attendance at the AGM was free for all members and guests, and the event provided an excellent opportunity to connect, share ideas, and strengthen ties within the local business community.
The evening was a valuable reminder of how collaboration, engagement, and strong leadership continue to drive the growth and success of businesses in Ku-ring-gai.
